350,000 Deaths around the world occur each year are attributed to workplace accidents !

OSHA reports show a staggering number of deaths, serious injuries and illness due to
workplace accidents. An estimated 2 million workplace related injuries occurred in
2005 that may have been preventable.

Thousands of workplace accidents occur throughout the United States every day.
Worker negligence, equipment failure, inadequate supplies, and unsafe surroundings
are causes for a good percentage of them. OSHA takes workplace safety very
seriously. OSHA regulations clearly spell out the rules to keep the working
environment safe for everyone. OSHA reports explain the most commonly cited
violations, what the violations are and how to avoid citations for these types of
violations. OSHA regulations can be found in Section 29 of the Code of Federal
Regulations (CFR). The goal of OSHA is to keep the workplace safe for the employees.

Properly trained employees, well maintained equipment and well defined safe work
areas significantly decrease the amount of work related accidents. Employee
motivation, risk management, and public health and safety is a major concern for
OSHA. OSHA publishes a wealth of information to help properly train and educate
employees in every industry. OSHA compliant videos available at
http://www.workplacesafetytips.com/ are designed to be simple and effective and make
the training process a snap. OSHA compliant materials are usually available in both
English and Spanish. Educated staff will not only reduce the incident rate , but
will increase productivity because of the renewed confidence the worker has gained
with his training, decrease absences due to workplace illness or injury, decrease
production downtime and reduce insurance costs as your safety rating improves.
Workplace Safety is a very serious issue and should be given a great deal of
consideration. With so many preventable accidents occurring on the job, it is more
important than ever to make sure all employees have the proper training required to
keep the environment safe for all concerned
